Wellington Aerated Water Co.
1914 - 1917
Two companies in the history of Wellington's aerated water businesses made use of the name 'Wellington Aerated Water Co.'. The earlier company always used the word 'Registered' in their branding, while the later made use of intertwined "WAW" lettering.
This later company took over the Smith & Reid business at 13 Riddiford Street in 1914. They used a mix of Codd patents, internal threads and crown seals to bottle their goods.
Wellington Aerated Water Co. continued trading through until 1917 when it was bought by Thomson, Lewis & Co. It is possible the company continued trading under its 'Wellington Aerated Water Co.' branding until 1921.
