Strike & Kroupa took over from Strike & Jeffrey in 1897, applying for the registration of their trademark on 2nd August 1897. They continued trading from 144 Adelaide Road until 1899, at which time the manufactory was purchased by Philip Barry.

Vincent L. Kroupa died on 21st January 1928.
