Schweppes Ltd moved into Wellington in 1935, operating from Hutt Park Road, Petone. By 1955 the company was known as 'Schweppes Australia Pty Ltd.' and in 1962 a branch was opened in Auckland. The Wellington operations were closed down in 1965 and the Schweppes business moved to the Auckland branch at this time.
