Schweppes Ltd. moved into Wellington in 1935, operating from Hutt Park Road, Petone. By 1955 the company was known as Schweppes Australia Pty Ltd and by 1962 a branch had opened in Auckland. In 1965 the Wellington branch was closed down and Schweppes moved their operations to the Auckland branch.

Schweppes Ltd. did not make brand their bottles with 'Wellington' - they didn't need to. Instead they would have drawn from their generic international supply of bottles. Local (Wellington) branding did, however, appear on their paper labels.

No 'Wellington' user-marked bottles from this company are known to exist.
