J. Newberry
1892 - 1922
John Newberry was a manufacturer of baking egg and custard powders, sauces and pickles. He also manufactured aerated water.
Newberry & Co. acted as an agent for J. Scott & Co., confectioners and biscuit manufacturers; Child & Hutchison soap manufacturers, and were the sole New Zealand agents for Jackson & Co.'s volcanic polish.
Newberry used two types of bottles, Lamont patents and Codd patents. Both are very hard to find, as aerated water was not John Newberry's core business.
