Everard Puddle purchased the old Sharpe Bros. factory at 19A Melling Road, Lower Hutt that closed down in 1936 and re-established the business as Hutt Aerated Waters. In 1951 they were making aerated waters, milk shake syrups, cordials and Windsor dry ginger ale.

The business closed in 1956 when it was sold to Phoenix.
