W. Evenson late J. L. Bacon
1901 - 1906
Walter Eel Evensen took Mrs. Bacon's factory at 78 Tory Street over in 1901, selling it back as Bacon & Co. Ltd. in 1906.
Interestingly, Evenson retained the JLB branding on his bottles during this and a subsequent period of control. This may have been a condition of sale, or it may have been a move to make use of the well-known and respected JLB trademark.
Walter Evensen died on 9th September 1923.
