C. R. Goulding & Co.
1866 - 1867
Following the dissolution of Strike Goulding & Co., John Strike moved to Charleston and established a brewery called Strike & Co. Meanwhile, back in Wellington, Goulding continued trading aerated water from Herbert Street as Goulding & Co. However in August of 1866 he advertised the business for sale.
WANTED to dispose of an AERATED WATER and CORDIAL business. Valuation only wanted for plant, as present proprietor is giving up the business.
Apply to C.R. Goulding, Wellington.
The business was purchased by William Smith & Co. prior to November 1866 and Goulding is then thought to have moved to Australia.
No user-marked bottles from this company are known to exist.
