Coca-Cola moved into Wellington in 1939, establishing their manufactory at Hutt Road, Kaiwarra. In 1955 the company changed its name to The Coca-Cola Export Corporation, and was located on Hutt Road (cnr Jackson St Petone).

In about 1969 The Coca-Cola Export Corporation became "aerated water marketers" and Central Bottlers Ltd. became the authorised bottlers of Coca-Cola in Wellington.

No user-marked bottles (with "Wellington") from this company are known to exist.
