Bell & Co.
1924 - 1930
Bell & Co. commenced trading in 1924 from 98 Adelaide Road and made use of 7oz and 10oz Codd patent (marble bottles) and later with 10oz and 26oz machine made crown tops.
The Codd patents used by Bell & Co. were late model spun top versions and their use was on the cusp of the crown top revolution.
It is presumed that this Bell & Co. was the same company that operated from Palmerston North for many years as the similar trademark was used.
Operations at Bell & Co. Wellington ceased in 1930.
