Bacon's
1906 - 1909
In 1906 the Bacon family established a modern aerated water factory called 'Bacon & Co. Ltd.' LTD. in Little Taranaki Street following the closure of the old J.L. Bacon factory at 78 Tory Street, which was under Walter Evenson's control (W. Evenson late J.L. Bacon).
Bacon & Co. was incorporated on 26th October 1906 and offered prompt delivery to any part of Wellington was boasted. The company name was changed to 'Bacon's (Celebrated) Aerated Water Co. Ltd.' in 1909.
