1892-1894

One bottle marked A.V. Coad. Aerated Waters & Cordial Manufactory exists. Even though this bottle doesn't have a location associated with it, it is assumed it is a Wellington company.
The A.V. Coad bottle was found in Wellington. In addition, an 1892/93 and subsequent 1893/94 directory makes reference of a Mrs. Annie Venters Coad residing in Lorne Street, the centre of the Wellington aerated water trade of the day.
It is assumed Mrs. Coad ceased her aerated water operation in or around 1894, after which time she moved from Lorne Street to Athol Crescent.
