A. G. Saunders
1907 - 1909
In 1906 Alfred George Saunders bought the C.W. Brodie establishment at 8 Sydney Street, and branded his bottles 'A.G. Saunders Late C.W. Brodie Wellington' to make the most of Brodie's previous marketing efforts.
A year later, with expansion on his mind, Saunders purchased Henry Davie's factory at 60a Fitzherbert Street Petone. (Davie bought his factory from Poswillo but kept it just one year before selling it to Saunders) and dropped the 'Brodie' reference on his embossing but added 'Petone' to reflect his growing business.
